About our Products:
Many of the microscopes and accessories offered are classic or antique, thus do not expect a "new or like new" item. We do strive to furnish nice, clean and usable prodcut, but remember, much of this equipment is 30-100 years old and will not necessarily be without a blemish or flaw.

Payment Methods:
Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express payments are accepted through PayPal's secure server for mauals and brochures For microscopes you may use PayPal or mail your personal check, USPS money order or cashiers check.
Personal checks, USPS Money Orderes and Cashiers Checks will delay shipping approx. 4-10 days until cleared.

Shipping:
Manuals and brochures listed are in pdf format, most can be purchased via download. Purchasers will get an e-mail with instuctions for download of individual manuals, be sure your "SPAM BLOCKER" is turned off. Links expire in three days and are limited to three downloads. If your time expires before you download or you run into an issue, contact me and I can resend using the e-mail address provided by PayPal. For obvious reasons "High Speed" internet conections are recommended.

Most packages (microscopes, parts, lab equipment etc. ) are shipped USPS or UPS Ground unless you request Overnight, 2 Day or 3 day shippiing. Please include the following: Name, Address and Telephone Number. Your shipping information will be verifyed with PayPal and a confirmed ship to address is required.

Please allow 2-4 "business days" for processing and packing. Personal checks and E-Checks can take up to 10 business days to clear and delay shipping. All expedited orders are usually shipped the following business day. Please be aware that deliveries are not made on weekends or holidays. Shipping rates are calculated through USPS and UPS's shipping calculators. These rates are based upon the shipping method chosen, the weight of the items, size of the package, and the destination zip code. A signature will be required for delivery.
Customers with P.O Boxes, APO or FPO Boxes, please be advised that as UPS does not deliver to APO, FPO or P.O. Box addresses!

--- NO SHIPPMENTS OF MICROSCOPES, PARTS, ACCESSORIES OR LAB EQUIPMENT SHIPPED OUT OF THE US UNLESS TERMS ARE AGREED UPON IN ADVANCE. THE ONLY EXCEPTIONS ARE MANUALS AS THEY ARE DOWNLOADABLE. ---

Returns:
There are no returns or refunds on manuals and brochures. Contact us for a "Return Authorization" (RA). Return authorizations granted will be at the customer's expense, and must be done within 3 days upon recieving the item. Please purchase a delivery confirmation and insurance for any items authorized for return, as items damaged or lost in shipping will not be credited. A credit of the returned amount will be applied, less all shipping costs. Any unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Any packages which are returned by UPS or the USPS, for any reason, whether due to an incorrect address or a receiver having moved will be refunded the invoice amount less a 15% restocking fee and shipping costs.

Privacy:

This site uses a PayPal shopping cart. PayPal may collect data, please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more information about how PayPal collects and uses this information. Classic Optics values your privacy, customer information is used for internal purposes for orders and is never shared or sold. Also we do not operate a newsletter or subscription based email of any kind. Be aware if you receive anything other than your email to download links or corospondence from us regarding an order, it IS NOT FROM CLASSIC OPTICS.
